My name was recently and randomly chosen to participate in a survey for Statistics Canada, in which my results would 'benefit my community's health care system'...in 6 months. The nice lady conducting my Survey was 15 minutes late, after having to reschedule her first appointment due to the unexpected death of a friend. While most likely ranting about how I am currently unpleased with the quality of the health care system in my community, all I could think about was why this pained lady Doris, was late.
UNEXPECTED DEATH. I asked myself this question:
Is it better to leave unexpectedly, or would I rather know the date of my death day and go out with a bang?
It's crazy how every year we celebrate the date of our birth- but every year, the day that our life ends passes us by as well, without our knowledge.
